i can see you
but i can't feel you.
my arms are getting cold
even in the september's air
i can hear you near me
as we walk the midnight streets
but i'm lost with out
the feeling of warmth on my
bare skinned arms swaying
alone by my sides.
just let it go.
all the pain you hold inside
[you just let me go]
and hold on to me.
i know you hear me
as you pretend to ignore
my words that were once so precious.
you once shined at the sound of
my voice as i pretended that
you were not there
i was only scared of
sweet whisperings in my ear
& as i ran away
the last words on your breath
were "I love you."
before you ran into the
september's sky, breathless.
then i became the hopeless one.
even september's air can give you the feeling of loneliness.
