Artist's Comments

    cold was my soul
    untold was the pain
I faced when you left me
    a rose in the rain....
so I swore to the razor
    that never, enchained
would your dark nails of faith
be pushed through my veins again.

    Cradle Of Filth.

Description: This is one of my most emotional pieces besides i`m sorry. This picture and piece does mean a lot to me and it wasn`t an easy shot, believe it or not. I realize it isn`t perfect, and it could be better, so please don`t tell me. It is kind of hard to take a shot like this when you have no tripod and it has to be a certain way. If you leave comments saying "this is so sad, blah blah" I don`t want to hear it. I was not trying to be sexy, beautiful. I had on left over make up and that was really it. Leave a comment with how it makes you feel. How and why you like it, or don`t like it. etc, not with "Beautiful" or "Gorgeous". Thanks.

I hope you like it.

sometimes I just want to drown,
and wash all my pain away.
I like sitting in the water,
    thinking and dreaming,
    until I can not breathe.

what if the world you think you know is an elaborate dream?

Real hard to describe how I feel about this.
Somewhat sad, it gives a certain calmness/tranquility(sorry for my bad english, i hope you know what i mean).
and it is because of this calming effect that i like this picture.
I hope I was helpful with this comment.

"Goodbye, cruel world. I'm leaving you today. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye. Goodbye all you people. There's nothing you can say to make me change my mind, goodbye."

You will be missed by many.

I know you don't really want to hear this but it is gorgeous. The way the water looks and the color. This is an amazing photo and the way your hand is on your shoulder it really does add to the emotion of it. Its like your holding yourself close from the cold pain and yet you can't express it through simple facial expressions. Like in a way you've given up and your just left with the emotion of pain and sadness. I love this.

I'd be like your little doll, you could use me whenever you want to play.

beautifully done. at least you're able of expressing your pain in an aesthetic way, which is a great gift.

personally, it makes me feel calm, not sad. it emanates some kind of composure.

I only like what i think i love,
I only see what i think i love,
I only know what i think i know,
I really love, see and know nothing,
Nothing is what it seems,
And I only feel what i think i feel ...

I feel captivated by this image. I love the play of light on the water, it gives the photo a surreal quality to it, which soothes my mind. Then I became drawn to your face, partly out of the water. I can't decide though if you're sinking into it or rising out of the water. It gives me a feeling of hope to think that you're rising out. The dark red tinge to the water reminds me of something, but I didn't think blood until I read the poem in your description. I still don't think it looks like blood, but it intrigues me greatly.

On a technical level, I'm curious as to how you got this shot. It looks like you were holding the camera with your left hand. I'm wanting to do a series dealing with water as well, so it would be good to know how you went about doing this. Also, I'm curious as to why you decided to leave the image vertical rather than rotating it for a more traditional portrait shot.

You continue to impress me.

not quite sunk yet, wondering if it's betterto fall than holding up, holding yourself just on the edge of falling.
The stasis of it all is amazing, the suspense. The picture illustrates your feelings, even though your face shows nothing.
An emotional shut-off, just hanging, waiting for something, someone to give you a reason to sink under again, or fight
against the water and pull yourself free.
